Poetry News Post #815

Lost

Written by: Mair

I wander the roads in darkness
Waiting for sign of remorse...
Yet I follow this circle
And continue the course

The hours tick by in silence
But silence is not in my head
The voices fight ever so cruely
Waking me, feeding my dread

I wait for a savior,
A rip in my skin
Maybe then I will breathe
Only then will I win

I feel like I'm drowning
But I don't want to swim
I wish someone could hear me...

I'm lost within.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Khepary, in the year 124 MA.
