My soul sparks when I see your eyes -
I dream of standing so close
That I see myself reflected in them,

Knowing the image of my smile
Lingers like sunspots

My entire equlibrium is contingent
On a lily-white atom balancing precariously
On your upturned fingertip
With a meticulous flick of your aristocratic wrist
You send me in ever-tightening orbits to the floor

I watch as your image bleeds then puddles
On the shocking pink of my tongue
Pardon my mouth as it curves itself around the idea of you.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Lanosian, in the year 122 MA.
