Lifeless Limb

Written by: Hollowed Willow Gwendolyn, Delving Ocean's Depths

Addressed to: Everyone

What blood can flow through such emptiness?
Though beating vein presses 'gainst my skin,
I feel the loss of life in my heart.
Such a shell that breaths and walks
Swaying leaf
Autumn's come.

What ravages can a soul take before its broke?
Seeping close against the edges
Frightened of the abyss within
Fearful essentia
Let oblivion take you
Into the winter.

Silence, why won't you let my mind be?
Screaming inside
Pawing at your cage
Seeped tears of your wounds
Drip dry the woe behind my eyes
Lost now...
Spring shall never come...

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Midsummer, in the year 121 MA.
