I do not follow You, though I write this to tell You I understand
corruption. You may not care but such will a poet such as I express her
thoughts in any case. It is Your will to read it or no.
Within the vulnerable soul of man
Corruption looks out with open eyes
Changing the way he perceives, acts, his plan
And letting loose the feelings he denies.
Corruption, O seed, a truth telling truth
Tell what freedom You cannot offer me?
O divine embrace that holds me in soothe
What ending could ever Your spiral see?
I'm falling forever in Your embrace
Twisted passion coursing through my veins.
Everywhere I turn I glance on your face
For at the core, corruption remains.
And so it's here, with my twisted view,
You show me the demon I always knew.
Penned by my hand on the 11th of Lleian, in the year 118 MA.
