Poetry News Post #722

Five minutes after celesmas.

Written by: Phobos Imperil

I can't be strong
I can't stand on my own
I have no hope to move on
I have no power to change.

I am defeated.
Why do you mock me?
Let me go,
I wish not to be bound.

Why do you not listen?
What is it that you don't see?
Who do you think I am?
I am not he.

My courage wanes,
my despair is fed.

Do not be sad for me,
but be happy for me, my friend...
I cannot.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Lanosian, in the year 117 MA.
