Arise this night, to the pail moonlight,
Body stands tall, within the firelight,
The shadows creeping across the land,
The lonely immortal, here I stand.
As the mists draw in, great is my fear,
Running down my cheek a single blood tear,
Sadness within me, for the love no more,
From my sobbing chest, my heart you tore.
For Eternal centuries, we roam at night,
Dressed in crushed velvet, ghosts to the light,
Entranced by the stare of your blood red eyes,
Whispered promises crumbling, they are all lies.
A fool was I, you made me believe,
I knew in my heart one day you would leave,
A new start, a new way, Move on I must,
For never again, my heart will I Trust.
