Addressed to: High Prince of Ulangi, Nighty Nightshadow Thalion, The Sun King

I wrote your name in the sand, but the wind carried it away.

I inscribed your name in a rock, but time wore it away.

I carved your name in a tree, but the tree flowered.

So I put your name in my heart,
and there
nothing will be able to take it away.

~X.K.

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Lanosian, in the year 113 MA.
