Of life in the sea

T'was just a moment here
in my short existance of life
that I ventured forth
to the sea to prove of my Might.

Thy eyes did not believe
of the wonders that where there
amung the under-water things
were people with flowing hair.

Mer-people they responded
as bubbles flowed from their mouths
startled in amazement
I started swiming south.

Retreating as fast as water flows
down a steep hill I swam
with care to the wind and eyes closed
I swam into a man.

Handsome as Adonis
and stronger than a whale
I didn't even knowtice
he was sporting his swimming tail.

A Mer-Man I responded
a friendly nod from him
I couldn't restrain my self
as I started to kiss him.

Now many years have past
and things hold dear to me
but the one sweet thing I remember
is that man of the Sea.

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Haernos, in the year 111 MA.
