A Year Has Passed

Written by: Count Rizzen Shinta'moryu, Xoranis Corpus

We watch time pass
The sands in the glass
When I catch that twinkle in your eye.
From the diamond on your hand
Soon to be a wedding band
Like Atavians, the first year flew by.

For all that you bring
When you cry, laugh or sing
You fill my eternal life with such grace.
Emotions overflow and flood
Like my thirst for the blood
I've had since my Sire's embrace.

So thanks from the heart
For playing your part
In my life or unlife as it is now.
To spend moments together
Lasting always and forever
From the night we make our joining vow.

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Severin, in the year 110 MA.
