for my mother and father.

How could this be?
The questions twirl in the breeze
like clumsily spun spiderwebs
stretching and glimmering in
my mind's eye
searching for you
in my music, my world,
my life.
I am vacant.
Love has dwelt within and now
the candle is blown out.
Who knew a candle like that
had turned into the firey blaze
keeping me alive?

I am without you.
lost, yet at home.

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Arios, in the year 108 MA.
