For You

I'd wait forever and I told you,
Now forever is what it seems,
And so I'll love you silently,
Through mine, eternal dreams.

Can I give you something beautiful,
That withstands the strains of time?
So I'll offer you my open heart,
Through these few lines of rhyme.

I would do and say anything,
I'd give my soul so you'd believe,
But life promises to many things,
With tired eyes, I'll take my leave.

I thought I saw you smile at me,
Amidst the faces in my dreams,
I could almost taste what might have been,
In slumbered air of which I breathe.

I begged for you to wait for me,
You held me close and then I knew,
In our silence, I heard destiny,
My life belongs to you.

I love you, Sayber.

Saigey

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Arios, in the year 106 MA.
