A Turning Point

The music fills my mind,
Yet love's dancers have it wrong,
Their movements and their glares unkind,
And with silent cries, forever gone.

Lives corrupted all along,
Marks the end of my heartsong,
I can't feel it, for it's gone.

I've wallowed in the memory,
My mistakes have made me cry,
I tried to reserect the melody,
Of true loves customary lie.

To love's customary lie
My final Goodbye...
And my sorrowed after-sigh.

In my darkest moment,
I felt light shine on my face,
His voice velvety, it saved me,
His outstreched arms, forever my place.

And I savour your embrace,
And the look upon your face,
It's your life I need to taste.

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Variach, in the year 104 MA.
