The pain I have kept quiet and within..
the things i have done to try to cover it..
Why is it so familiar now?
It's all the same, a different war, a different time.
But so familiar
She had lied to me, she cheated on me..
I knew not then and til now how much I kept that pushed away.
It's so familiar..
This pain that I kept hidden..
I thought I delt with it, then why am I still crying..
Why is it so vivid now..
I remember her voice, her words..
I remember though I tried to forget..
So I have hurt others, to hide my pain...
Never letting any back to that spot..
Yet wishing I could again..
I remember..and it hurts now as much as it did then..
I tried to hide it..
Maybe I did...
Maybe I didn't..
