Paths

I see three paths, all diverging, all differnt.
Which one do I take?
Which road is the right one?
I stand at the fork and glance down each.
Worry in my heart, my mind troubled for times ahead.
I feel the pull strongest among all of them.
Beckoning me, calling to me.

One road is smooth, and safe.
Another is filled with branches littering the road.
Obstacles, and hardships.
Another is dark.
I look for you down each path, wondering which is right.
I wonder at them.
I see so many changes down each.

My heart pulls at me, whispering to me.
Why am I so afraid to start the journey?
I must choose, yet I stand still at the fork.
Unable to move.
I want to make a choice.
Yet I stand unable to move.
