Ways of Night

Written by: Thrall Larayviel Voltaire

Love me not for ways of night
But for the underlying agendas
of crow-shrouded battlefields
Love me not for ways of night
But welcome the warm stare of my dark eyes
And will you call my name
Or do you fear its sound
Love me not for ways of night
But burn through the swamps of longing
As torches and nightmares embrace our coupling
And will you touch me
An alchemy of tender flesh
Carved of ivory and nightmares
Forgive me I cannot resist
I await you on the edge of pain

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Chakros, in the year 95 MA.
