Crumbling

Wander through the ruins
The citizenless streets of Delos
Through the lonely Tasurke alleys
And see that they're lost.

Tramp through the streets of Ashtan
Life within those walls
Talking, laughing, crying,
My safety, my all

Slide among the Shallam alleys
People throng, pulse and weave
I take the time to think
Will they ever leave?

Will we live to watch Ashtan crumble?
Or to watch Shallam fall?
Will we fight to the bitter end
Will we answer our city's call?

Will we scream and shout?
Spill our blood on the streets>
Or will we all turn and run,
Some great cowardic feats!

I never want to see the day
When life leaves these, our homes,
What will you do
When the end bell tones?

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Arios, in the year 93 MA.
