Poetry News Post #323

It again

Written by: Duchess Brooke Cae'lestis, Eternal Flame

Are you my friend
Or are you not?
You told me once
But I forgot

A simple tear
rolled down my cheek
A simple proposal
ruined my week

I felt alone
You took my hand
How could I have doubted
That you would understand

I feel this pain
I know you do to
All I now long for
is a snuggle from you

We share this thing
a special gift
but never should it have
caused a rift

I love it dearly
I know you do to
We hold it close
Whenever we are blue

Never will I forget
Never ever again
You're my best friend
we'll make it through the rain

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Severin, in the year 93 MA.
