Poetry News Post #292

so, ok... I'm still in a poetic mood

Don't you know how your words
Lift me into the air
Don't you see how you
Make me openly stare

Don't you see how your smile
Makes me weak at the knees
Don't you know how I'd hold you
If I could only beg please

Don't you know how your voice
Makes me melt right in my place
How your love makes me doubt
The limitlessness of space

Don't you see I'm a girl
Imperfect and flawed
Who know you a little
And is totally awed

Be mine for a day, a week
A year, a lifetime
And I tell you that heaven
Would only be mine

-hum- Done I think.

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Haernos, in the year 91 MA.
