Purpose

Written by: Infernal Squire Zephy Duses, Ward of Iracia
Date: Wednesday, January 29th, 2003
Addressed to: Lion Tarleich Duses

My mentor, I his ward, one that carried his name for my
young existence.
Taught me the lands, beetles, rats, how to defend.
Taught me how to be an Infernal.
For True Infernal he was.
He had his faults, his stoic nature, his unbending ways.
Yes, he was rash at times, his judgements quick.
But to me he was my mentor, one that I feared at first..
Came to know as a brother, and loved as one.
I feel his presence gone, and wonder at it.
One that didn't say a word even though I was hopelessly lost.
Giving myself time to get found.
The land lays quietier, perhaps too quiet.
Be well Dear Brother, there are many that will not forget.

Lady Zephy Duses

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Khepary, in the year 91 MA.
