Twisting, twirling, a dervish in the wind
Seductive, sexy, beckoning..
You're already deep in sin
Lusting, tasting, wanting her so much
Gyrating, dancing, shimmying
You hunger for her touch

Beside you, silent, here I stand
Watching, breaking, hurting
Not me that's on demand
Somehow maybe I always knew
Somewhere I understand
But not here, now with you.

Confidante, comforter, friend
Nothing much to notice,
I thought with you would end
Fears, loneliness, insecurities
A lilting life
In the hands of the deities.

Crumbling, breaking, sinking
Aching, crying, dying
And all the while I'm thinking
"How could I ever imagined this,
him loving me,
Or ever seeking my kiss?"

Silent in the shadows stand
Eyes not seeing
Clench'd hand
Sorry if I'm quiet some more
I want to die
And my heart is sore.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Variach, in the year 88 MA.
