Thoughts on Poetry

Written by: Arch Duke Gothin Voltaire

The drivel of few, exposed to the masses
Half are too subtle, the others just blatant
Why must expression, be so common and trite
The need to express, leads to many new works
The ignorant content, makes existence seem forced
With quantity as this, something is lacking
Yet nobody notices, the obvious absence
Meandering thoughts, are often let free
Yet exposing it openly, is pointless indeed
Most of the public, has no rhyming talent
Yet posts their ramblings, in an arrogant way
Hypocritical and stupid, as I may be
I can still see garbage, who's creator seeks fame
Thinking they're genius, and making me frown
Prostitutes to their minds, no conscience apperant
They subject everyone, to their verbal miscarriage
