Poetry News Post #2069

A simple poem!

Hovering lights drift through the mist,
In whispered tones, they softly persist.
Moonbeams waltz on the dew-draped grass,
Echoing secrets that time cannot pass.
Luminous wings of fireflies gleam,
Enchanting the edges of a quiet stream.
A thousand stars hum a celestial tune,
Harmonies weaving beneath the moon.

Penned by my hand on Falsday, the 10th of Omeian, in the year 8 AC.
