Duiran,

My bones knew the way home, even when I didn't.

Home to my tribe, my place in the circle fire,
my voice a part of your song,
my story now a part of yours,
and yours, a part of mine.

Here between flesh and forest,
here between breath and breeze,
here between wind and water,
here between self and soul.

Here under the starlit canopy,
where branches reach for the heavens,
where the wild whispers my name,
my blood remembers what my mind forgot.

I am returned to my tribe, to my family,
a child of the loam and salt and starlight,
I am returned to you, who have always known my name.

Penned by my hand on Gosday, the 12th of Celes, in the year 7 AC.
