A BARD'S BEGINNING
------------------

This is a tale of a young village Bard,
an Imp from Torston who yearned for a new home.
Setting out all alone he found very hard,
but some slavers captured him when he started to roam.

Thrown in a dungeon in a dank gloomy cell,
the Imp knew he would die if he didn't escape.
An old man gave him a key then started to yell,
the Imp started running, no time to make jape.

With a Northern's help he knew where to go,
the Imp escaped the dungeon and set off on his path.
With naught to keep warm, he trudged through the snow,
he arrived in Spinesreach, free of the slavers' wrath.

Now begins the tale of Bartham the Bard,
armed with a thirst for knowledge that cannot be barred.
