Addressed to: Everyone
The Dawn rises with the sun's warm embrace
Within the Hammer children begin to race
The Templars are busy training with blade
Within the dormitories beds are being made
The Ascendril wake and begin to study hard
The Illuminai ensure their work goes far
Then a sound as someone raises their head
For the war had ended and an intruder met
From outside people clamour about victory
From outside people clamour about defeat
They cry the Hammer is now on bended knee
They cry the Hammer should prostrate gratefully
Yet for all the cries that there should be despair
From outside the Hammer they know not what goes on there
People gather and chat, they continue to train
They continue to create, laughter is the refrain
One loss, one war, does not a city's future make
For the spirit of the Hammer is much harder to break
Penned by my hand on Tisday, the 15th of Khepary, in the year 508 MA.
