To Linne, foesome friend

Oh Linne my now foe, oh Linne my once-friend
How could you have betrayed us?
I thought you sought truth, numerological sleuth
But Bloodlochs ignrance is stupendous!

You number the spheres while they number their beers
And you wonder why you feel alone
Libraries forsaken for faces misshapen
Not a glimpse of intelligence shown

Youve never been one for love, thats fair
You owe it to no person or city
Emotionless, you may not seem to care
But remember you not your loyalty?

For your comrades in arms
For your friends at the gates
For rides shared on the ol Mazilkree
For your days in the spires
For your nights soft desires
For the Dragon, the ethos, the creed.

If I see you my friend, I will have no choice
But my unsheathe my falchion in sadness
For though we will fight, though Ill bring all my might,
Its not you I combat but your madness.

Unlike ol Bulrok I cant hate all you are
And make my choice of words regrettable
I know you enough, that this rhyme, though quite rough
Even aimed at you will be deemed:
Acceptable.

Penned by my hand on Tisday, the 13th of Lleian, in the year 505 MA.
