Breathe

There is power that lies within every breath
A decision to live expanding its depth
It takes discipline to hold fast to this choice
And if we lose balance, we risk bringing death

Outside of a cycle that should be revered
Honoured, respected, one not to be feared
And if we lose sight of our place in this loop
The steadiness that keeps us whole disappears

Each inhale strains outward and claims its own space
It is measured, the rhythm that holds us in place
An awareness is needed of where we all stand
For quick as an exhale, all can be erased

There is strength in the breeze the flows past our lips
Each thought should be held before transferred to scripts
Everything Changes, and we are a part
But be careful which end of the balance you tip.
