a poets best work is when he is in pain.
though it be passions fire or sorrows rain.
putting emotion in words and rhyme.
finding the pattern that would be sublime.
how can another feel the poets pain.
words are lacking in utter distain.
a kiss, a slap how can it compair
to a heartbreak or loss one cannot share.
let words fill the void in expression and note.
be they new or in anothers quote.
now I lay this pen to rest.
