Cold

Ice cold in the frozen snow,
But your heart was the coldest that I know,
But I can't trust you, not as far as I can throw.

You want me to give up my life,
You say you would take me as your wife.
Since you entered, I've had nothing but strife.

I wish it were different and we could be friends,
But I, having breath, know that everything ends.
The truth: neither you nor I, have what it takes to bend.

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Khepary, in the year 266 MA.
