Blood

Written by: Duke Xyelin Voltaire
Date: Wednesday, August 13th, 2008
Addressed to: Everyone

My house, my patron, for all eternity.
I survive to serve, beyond breath, beyond death.

Tainted times and tainted lines,
Weave paths unknown through blood now mine.
Watered down the days of old,
The Voltaire pride, the consanguine hold.

We stalk, we slay, we feed on prey.
But our coven now full of outsiders may,
Rip the roots, the rituals away.
To leave behind a hallow shell,
Of doubts and conflict and nothingness.

But my house, my patron, for all eternity.
I survive to serve, beyond death, beyond breath.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Lanosian, in the year 252 MA.
