An Ode to the Green Fairy

Absinthe, you remedy all the woes that ail me. Oh come to me my beloved
fae, brighten the night and make it my day. Oh liquor so fiery green,
you make me alight with your sheen. I see your visions and I scream.
Beautiful green fairy. Your call to me means I'll not tarry. A gift from
Mother Chakrasul, those who deny you are a fool. Your siren call brings
all to fall, yet your blessed muse brings all again tall. Divine drink,
spawned of bliss, grant to me your jaded kiss of liquorice.

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Lleian, in the year 247 MA.
