Everytime I fight with you,
My heart breaks a little more.
But trying to stop my love for you,
Would be like trying to stop waves crashing on the shore.
I've never had feelings,
Quite like this before.
They're running around inside me,
Letting out an occasional roar.
When I know I've hurt you,
I feel something so deep inside.
Something dark and scary,
Which makes me want to hide.
But despite all these feelings,
And all the tears I've cried.
Something leads me back to you,
Like the seas incoming tide.
When I know you're near me,
My heart begins to beat.
My palms begin to sweat,
And it's not because the heat.
When I am without you,
I really feel quite blue.
Because I know deep inside,
That despite all these feelings....
I love you.
Something leads me back to you.
Penned by my hand on the 10th of Ios, in the year 81 MA.
