Finding my Prince

Is it really all that hard to find
Someone to be the apple of my eye?
Am I asking too much of a man
to simply hold my hand,
to protect me, to cherish me,
to adore me and to love me?

All I'm really searching for
is just someone to adore.
Is that really too much to ask?
Just for a love that will last.

A man who won't forget his promise
When I am not near.
A man who will not lie and cheat
an impossible feat, I fear.

A Knight in shining armour
to sweep me off my feet.
A love so strong, so powerful
that none can come between.

Am I really asking too much?
To find my Prince Charming?
So that I may worship him
as he worships me.
