Halaen

Written by: Fio Tehario Fyaonari, Lisette McCloud, Cyrae Hineb Saloe

Addressed to: Auresae, Goddess of Fire

Beloved Mother, burning ever bright
Within Your Pillar, children do aspire
To find a constant favour in Your sight,
Singing songs of joy in praise of Fire;
But I, Your daughter, being only one
Among the dozens calling out Your name,
Whose vision looks to You and sees the sun,
Loves yet simply. May You find no blame
In words still birthed from the common tongue
Attempting to convey a love Divine;
Halaen - Goddess of the Dawn unsung -
Speak Your will and I shall make it mine.
Though I as one thus speak, Your words have shown
Along Your path, we never walk alone.

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Variach, in the year 211 MA.
