Existance's Failure

When things end, why am I the one left hurt?
When I have hurt someone else, how is it they seem to feel nothing?
I try to move on, but I stand still I wave goodbye And waste away
Praying for days gone by
Praying for Someone
I suppose I watch the sun set alone
I suppose the days go on
I suppose mistakes are meant to haunt.
Sit around and drink
These empty bottles begin to make you think
You try and figure out
Where it went wrong
What its all about
Find yourself
Lost in another world of torment
You find those you've hurt are better now
Their hearts are healed
But mine lays shattered
Upon the empty ruins
A small flame no longer burning to keep my warm
Just another day
To realize how you are not needed
How existence failed to place you appropriately
How love wasn't met for you
Maybe one day I'll really understand why

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Haernos, in the year 77 MA.
