Poetry News Post #1534

hearts unfettered

Written by: Cyrae Hineb Saloe, Instructor Lisette Winterstar
Date: Sunday, January 28th, 2007
Addressed to: Curate of Faith, Instructor Fierzha McCloud

If you are a dream, I do not wish to wake
For fear that you might vanish from my sight -
With a single glance, my captive heart you take
And if you are a dream - I do not wish to wake
Nor dream of aught but you; the vow I make
Is forged in Mother's Fire and birthed from Light.
If we are a dream, I would not wish us wake,
For fear that we might vanish from our sight.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Niuran, in the year 207 MA.
