Song of the Forge

In honor of new friends made.
--

Sing me sweet a song of forge's fire,
And I will try to harmonize your tune
With ancient melodies so to inspire
Dawn's swift light to chase away the moon;
Within your forge impurities are burned
Away, as phoenix rising from the ashes -
From you, a fear of judgement Darkness learned
Yet lessons do not stick. So blade-light flashes
Bright, the movement not unlike the sun
That mesmerizes us from heaven's gate;
With courage in your heart are others won,
By fire and steel and forge you make them great.
So here I pledge my fists to join your blade,
And let us face the Darkness unafraid.

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Lleian, in the year 207 MA.
