My Immortal

Written by: Thrall Varakye Bahir'an
Date: Sunday, December 3rd, 2006
Addressed to: Everyone

Silence
An ever present sound of nothing
Continuous droning from then till now
Silence, it is deafening with out you dear

Silence
I hear not a sound of you
One long pause between another
Silence, I am lost in the quiet

Silence
I feel your gentle kiss upon my lips
One brief moment of eternity
Silence, let not a noise disturb this

I am deaf to the world when you are near me
I am lost in the quiet of your embrace
I am immortal when you touch me
Silence, once again, and you are gone

I will now live in silent memory upon memory of you
Until you once more destroy the fragile canvas of my ear drums
With the soft, silent touch of you hand on mine

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Chakros, in the year 203 MA.
