Unknown Confusion

Written by: Tomcat Xellos

Were that the seasons
Were if stories untold
Futures and dreams
Futures not known

Would that I knew
My place in this life
In this world this universe
In all of my strife

As I look through the backdoor
The mirror and the stream
I see a reflection
But it is not of me

Instead it is of a scared
Young-looking man
One who is proud
Yet still cannot stand

Oh! That the moment
Would come as foretold
When I see who I am
And know my destiny foretold.

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Lleian, in the year 201 MA.
