Poor little imp child
Who seeks to shock us all
With his burning insight.
The definition of doggerel
Is lost to thee.

'Oh, this poetry is terrible!
The solution of course
Is to write poetry that is even worse!
Make it void of meaning,
And pointless to boot!
That will show these poor saps
How brilliant I am.'

Art without content
Is not art.
You wouldn't know descriptive grammar
If it bit you on the bum.
As long as it flows,
And communicates deeper meaning,
Insight,
Who cares if the t's are not crossed
Nor the i's dotted?

You destroy centuries of theory
With your whining.

But then
It is much easier to destroy
Than to create,
No?
