Never a chance

Swimming along,
Alone wandering

Never a chance

A quarterstaff,
I had seen comming
Trip me you could not have

And yet
Never a chance

Swept of my feet
Like a twenty year old
It is how we would meet

Never a chance

Now swimming along,
Alone wondering...

If only she would give me a chance.

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Slyphian, in the year 170 MA.
