Tempest-Tossed

Written by: Dehaka Vail

All these tempest tossed emotions conflicting inside of me,
A dark heart beating to the rhythm of those who can't see
All of the ignorance and violence held within
A swollen fragment of a soul drenched in sin

Tempest tossed thoughts conflicting over a point
Each pushing so hard as to forge a new path
Stretching muscles beyond the natural joint
And raising within the dragon's wrath

Growth of the storm that is hidden within
Remembering all of the memories of a time back when
Just when it all would grow cold and be left alone
Not like the now when the world is alive
Not like the when-when it was a cold stone
And nothing was left there to thrive

But there's always someone trying something new
Not that it's a bad thing for someone to do
But always the fire running the blood to freeze
And driving the storm back to it's knees.

Not a clue why I wrote this.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Arios, in the year 160 MA.
