In swirled autumn memories
Like tufts of morning wind
My life gone past returns to me
Each pained break rescind

The shards of faded thoughts
Crushed dead leaves upon the floor
Give hint at what all used to be
All the friends I've left heartsore

So many years that have gone by
Flood like blood across my soul
Drowning any pitiful cry
How can simple words 'ere repay

For I know the hurt I've caused
In each pained, heartfelt word
Living each day forever flawed
For myself and no one more.

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Arios, in the year 150 MA.
