As I close my eyes...

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Stumbling slightly as the arrow pierces my shoulder.
This is not the way I pictured me
Everywhere I look, it's living blasphemy.

As I close my eyes...
It all fades to black...
As I close my eyes...
I just want you back...

I need no introduction
in this world of corruption.
Claws tapping dangerously on the table
Is this real, or merely a child's fable?

As I close my eyes...
I accept the embrace...
As I close my eyes...
I see images of your face...

This is my nightmare, so it's come down to this
Hoping I could change, if I only had one wish.
This is my burden, I've a secret demise
To cast down all who live by the sword and by lies.

As I close my eyes...
The blood trickles down...
As I close my eyes...
It is finished. I die without a sound...
