Lost

What I wouldn't do for you.
to love you, to hold you, to know you.
My mind wanders back to the time,
when we laughed together, you and I.

To a time before secrets and lies.
Before we decided to sever all ties.
Back when you would hold me near.
Back when tender touches were so dear.

Back when cold nights were warm.
Back when you held me tightly in your arms.
Back to the days when your kiss excited me.
Back to the time I will never again see.

Sadness overwhelms my broken heart.
To know we will forever be apart.
My only comfort lies in the memories.
Writhing in pain inside of me.

To capture on moment in time.
To bring back lost dreams of mine.
I would die a thousand deaths to see.
One single moment of the old you and me.

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Lleian, in the year 140 MA.
