Dreams of Peace

Peace, but a forgotten wish.
How did things ever come to this?
Long ago thrown to back of mind,
See the warriors march in line.

They go to battle, and their glory,
Achieving hollow victory.
Brave and tall the warriors stand,
Conquerors of a wasted land.

Maybe one day peace will reign,
And bravery will be no longer feigned,
Straight and tall the warrors march,
Their walk is swift, their battle harsh.

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Variach, in the year 140 MA.
