Trapped in suspension
Through thick waters each movement is seen
Slowed and timed, each detail and articulation blurred
Can I see the truth here
Beyond this blurried world that surrounds me
Consuming my ears and filling them with the sound of bees
And I am slowed too, lungs filled with this stuff
Each breath laboured and thought through,
Consiously aware of the ticking time of life
Seeing it all flow by on the currents I can't catch
Contemplated life within me
Wondering on what new worlds I can find,
If there is some new corner to explore
Beyond this hazy, bland bubble I'm stuck in.

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Slyphian, in the year 139 MA.
