Your Poem

Lenie.

I didn't say you hadn't felt Pain
I didn't say you don't know Sorrow

But what I do say is you've not enough
To judge your actions effect on Tomorrow

Have you been in other guilds?
Have you learned of other's ways
I seriously doubt you've had the time
Despite all that you might say

I have been a Novice Aide
In the Occultists I remember well
I have tossed my tarot cards
And seen Golgotha in his Hell.

You speak to me as if I have
Not been quite fair to you
My dearest little Lenie
Life and Death AREN'T FAIR, It's True.

I am not eager to judge
That I am loathe to do
I am simply hear to warn
With what I have seen and knew

I don't need to walk your path,
Or see things through your eyes
It's apparent in the way you feed
And the way I've heard Bloodborn cry

You feel ritualistic joy, you say
And that makes my heart sad
For nothing is worse than joy that's forced
Nothing hurts the soul so bad

If you've felt pain for another
Then you've probably been enamoured
Seen a woman's beauty so
That your pockets emptied at her glamour

And if you've been used by your Sire
Or some other Consanguine with Flair
I must reitterate again
Life just isn't fair

I do respect your talent
And in another time
I probably would have shown you the world
And had you as a pupil of mine.

Duchess Auvira Gravz Amaratha, Mystery's Poet

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Arios, in the year 139 MA.
