Re: The Bloodborn and the Consanguine

Fair enough, I miss the taste,

Of warm blood upon my tongue.
But my path did not lack in thought,
I'm no longer so very young.

How can you say you wouldn't choose
This path that several did?
For knowledge comes at a high high price,
Usually the highest bid.

Bloodborn are as Bloodborn do,
But we are not of Greed.
We search through Kalsu rituals,
Even though we cannot feed.

For every 'death' and every loss,
We learn something anew.
We've forged a path all our own,
And continue with all we do.

I shan't say that you should conform,
As freedom we've all been given.
Just don't judge us by a single glance-
We're not the least greed-driven.

We gave up many things we love,
To strive to reach new heights.
For every pain and every sorrow,
We discover a new delight.

I've matched you word for word,
In an attempt to make you see.
Just because we've changed,
Doesn't mean "Greedy" is all we can be.
