Sacred Leaves

Within the mists of serenity, you see me.
A shelter of bark that lays beneath you,
tracing the outline of what is to be.
There, becoming one instead of two.

Soft caresses of silk you are.
Mingling with my soul,
the sweet kisses of you not far.
Oh precious sounds weave a lovely toll.

Cover me with your strong arm.
Protect the night from ending,
so that I can hold you from harm.
Let my soul send your spirit ascending.

These branches of you stem from the deep.
Soaring forever in the sparkle of my eye,
you bring joy to me from a mountain steep.
Let me love you from here and from the sky.

With you, love has transcended into something more than a simple word.
Without you, it would have no meaning.

I love now and always.
Kieran

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Lanosian, in the year 138 MA.
